Together : Annual Fund Campaign

‘Together’ is the Annual Fund campaign for Hyde Park Montessori. The directors wanted to introduce the new fundraising initiative to the school and the local community to encourage strong initial support in the five-year fund timeline.

Following the brand guidelines we had set in the initial rebrand, I leaned into the history of the school for the campaign name, ‘Together’. We decided that collateral would be used in conjunction with a community kick-off celebration to encourage early adoption of the initiative. To continue to rally support in the general community the director and I co-wrote a piece about the history of childcare in the neighborhood for the monthly community paper.

In early February 2020, Hyde Park Montessori had reached the 75% benchmark for community donations. The goal was expected to reach 100% after a spring silent auction but was unfortunately paused due to the global pandemic.

Walk down Avenue H someday when you’re heading for Quack’s or the Hyde Park Market, and you’ll pass a charming blue house with a playground shaded by mature pecan trees. If it’s a weekday, you’ll hear the sounds of children as they learn the skills of friendship, the sounds letters make, and more. Currently the home of Hyde Park Montessori, 4108 Avenue H has served the neighborhood as a Montessori preschool for over 50 years.
